Faith is one of the most important factors in our walk with Jesus. Without faith we don’t believe that God will really take care of us. Faith is having unwavering belief that God will have everything in our life under his control. Isaiah 41:10 says “ So do not fear, for I am with you; do  not be dismayed, for I am your God.”

That doesn’t mean that things will always be peachy when we  walk with the Lord, in fact that’s not the case at all. The bible says that we will have hard times but it’s how we react to those times that show us how strong our faith is. James 1:2-4 says “Consider it pure joy, my brothers whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

God knows what he is doing. We may go through hard times, but they make us, us! The body of Christ is filled with people who have gone through different troubles. If we never had challenges we would never grow, never have to rely on Jesus, and never tap into our full potential.

It’s easy to stay focused on God and his will when things are going our way. Rather how much more it means to him when you cling to him out of faith when anything goes wrong. Bring every trouble, every problem to Jesus. Lay them at his feet, we don’t have to worry. All we have to do is have faith that he will protect us. Which he always will Psalm 27: 1 says “The Lord is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?” With God on our side we should be overflowing with faith!  He is stronger than any man, any temptation, any hurt, any and every obstacle. So have faith! Don’t just hope he can help you, know he can and will!
